Our team sets the standard for educational excellence, building your core skills while also helping you master the latest techniques. Educators at Xenon, A Stephanie Moss Academy have decades of experience working in the industry and as beauty educators and mentors. They understand what it’s like to be students as well as beauty professionals and they’ll be there to guide you through every step of the process.

We believe that hands-on experience is the best way for students to learn and build confidence. Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll get practical experience in our student salon and spa, helping you perfect your skills with real clients.*

Xenon: Then and Now

For over 75 years, beauty professionals counted on Peels Salon Services for quality products and top-of-the-line equipment. Our founder, Xenon, was an internationally acclaimed guest artist and leading creator of industry techniques who had a desire to educate the next generation of stylists. When these two industry leaders formed a partnership, Xenon International Academy was born. Over the last 30 years, our team has been educating and empowering the next generation of beauty professionals using salon-quality tools and techniques.

In 2022, Xenon was acquired by Stephanie Moss, industry leader and founder of Stephanie Moss Salon, and her husband, Ryan Moss. With fresh ideas and energy for the next generation, Xenon, A Stephanie Moss Academy, is dedicated to cultivating the skills of the best up-and-coming professionals in the beauty industry just as the original founders did — continuing a storied history of teaching thousands of beauty professionals in esthetics, barbering and cosmetology.
