What Programs Do You Offer?
Students at Xenon Academy can study Cosmetology, Esthetics, or Barbering. Please note that our Barbering Program is only offered at our Omaha campus at this time.
How Do I Enroll In Beauty School?
The first step in enrolling at Xenon Academy is to schedule a campus tour. This visit will take about 45 minutes and offers you a chance to get to know more about our school, staff, and programs.
When you’re ready to enroll, download and fill out our application and return it to the campus of your choice. You’ll need to provide copies of your high school diploma/GED, birth certificate, and photo ID and pay an administrative fee upon submitting your application.
Is Financial Aid Available?
Xenon Academy is an accredited beauty school, so financial aid is available to those who qualify. Federal financial aid is provided in the form of grants, subsidized loans, and unsubsidized loans. You can fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) to see what type of federal aid you may qualify for.

Do You Assist Graduates With Job Placement?
We cannot guarantee any employment opportunities for our graduates. However, we do host job fairs and maintain relationships with local salons and spas to help our students seek out job opportunities after they graduate.
What Are Beauty School Classes Like?
While attending beauty school, you will learn in the classroom and on the salon floor providing services to real clients. After a minimum of 200 classroom hours, students can begin providing client services under the supervision of licensed instructors. With plenty of hands-on experience, you’ll gain the confidence you need to practice your craft.

Do I Need An Appointment For Salon Services?
Appointments are recommended for services in both of our salon locations. Call (308) 395-8600 for appointments in Grand Island or (402) 393-2933 in Omaha to guarantee your spot.
What Services Do Your Salons Offer?
Our salons provide haircuts, color services, texture systems, facials, spa therapies, and waxing. All services are performed at affordable rates by students under the supervision of licensed instructors. You can view the full list of services and see the cost of services.
